Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? (Amos 3:3)
It is impossible for people going to different destinations to walk together. He who has set out for heaven walks with those who are headed in the same direction. If you have chosen the narrow way, the one who walks on the broad way that leads to destruction cannot be your companion. He who walks in God’s paths does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly, nor does he who sits at the feet of Jesus sit in the seat of the scornful. If you have chosen the commandments of the Lord, you will also choose as friends those who keep His commandments.
