The Wicked’s Fall, God’s Victory

 Your injury has no healing, Your wound is severe. All who hear news of you will clap their hands over you, For upon whom has not your wickedness passed continually? -Nahum 3:19

Here is an incurable pain that becomes a cause for joy. The destruction of Nineveh brought rejoicing to God’s people. Why?

The destruction of the wicked reduces the suffering of God’s people.

The fall of evildoers signifies the triumph of righteousness.

The downfall of the wicked is evidence that God has intervened and shown His care for His people.
