Answered Prayers, Eternal Praise

So I will sing praise to Your name forever… Psalm 61:8

The psalmist prayed, received an answer to his prayer, and testified about it: “You have been a refuge for me, a tower of strength against the enemy.” That’s why he wants to sing praises to the Lord. His prayer has reached heaven, so his praise must too. The Lord has heard his prayer, so He will also hear his song.

I, too, have many answered prayers, so like the psalmist, I will sing to the Lord forever.
