Reflect on Luke 24:29

"Abide with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent." And He went in to stay with them. – Luke 24:29

Abide with me, fast falls the eventide.

The darkness deepens; Lord, with me abide.

When other helpers fail and comforts flee,

Help of the helpless, oh, abide with me.

"Abide with us," said the disciples on the road to Emmaus.

"Abide with me," sang the hymn writer.

"Abide with me," says every child of God who has heard His Word and longs for His presence.
