It is a good thing
to give thanks unto the Lord. Psalm 92:1
It is a good thing, because the Lord is worthy of
thanksgiving. It's a good thing, because it's good to have a reason, an
occasion to be thankful. Everyone has such a reason. It is a good thing, because it is good to have a contented heart. It is a gift
from God. It is good to give thanks to Him with words because it will inspire and
encourage others to do the same. It is a
good thing because the grateful person does not doubt God's power, wisdom,
goodness, knows that God never makes mistakes. And on the contrary, complaining
is an evil thing, because it is unbelief, ingratitude, lack of respect for God.
