My plans are sometimes wrong; sometimes I forget to pursue the right plans, and sometimes I lack the wisdom and ability to carry them out.
The psalmist is confident that the Lord will fulfill His purpose for him because His steadfast love endures forever, and he knows that his prayer will be heard: 'Do not forsake the work of Your hands.'
The Lord never leaves His work unfinished; no purpose of His remains incomplete.
