Surrounded by merccy

 "Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; but he who trusts in the LORD, mercy shall surround him." - Psalm 32:10

This verse contrasts the wicked with those who trust in the Lord. The wicked rely on themselves, their own righteousness, wisdom, and power. In contrast, those who have received God's forgiveness rely on the Lord's justice for justification, His blood for forgiveness, His power for protection, and His wisdom for guidance. What a blessing it is to be surrounded by the mercy of the Lord, which is better than life itself!
