’’There is no wisdom or understanding Or counsel against the LORD.’’ - Proverbs 21:30
This verse about God's sovereignty brings joy to those who fear God, desire His will to be done, and wait for His plan to be fulfilled. However, it should instill fear in those who rebel against God's Word, His works, and His plan. Scripture and history reveal that no wisdom, understanding, or counsel can hinder God's plan.
The Almighty God humbled a mighty monarch, turning him into a grass-eating animal until his understanding returned and he praised the God of heaven: "Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything He does is right and all His ways are just. And those who walk in pride He is able to humble" (Daniel 4:37).
Pharaoh arrogantly declared, "Who is the LORD, that I should obey His voice and let Israel go? I do not know the LORD, and I will not let Israel go" (Exodus 5:2). His arrogance was punished with ten plagues upon his country, and his entire army drowned in the Red Sea.
No one who has fought against God has ever won, nor will they ever.
