Every sin and transgression carries a snare. When we break God's Word and follow our own will, we fall into this snare and endure the painful consequences of our sin. However, those who obey God's commandments and renounce sin, live a holy life that brings joy and song. They have grateful hearts, free from grumbling, fear, and shame.
There is no snare for those who live a holy life. I want to be like the person described in the second part of this verse. Let me remember that those who do not obey the Word of God will inevitably fall into the snare.
