Jesus is willing to cleanse us

”Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, “If You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed. " - Mark 1:40, 41

The leper faced a significant problem – an incurable, terrible disease. However, he turned to the right Person and had the right opinion about Jesus' ability. He said, 'You can...' He didn't ask, 'Can you?' but confifently declared, 'You can make me clean.' Although he wasn't certain if Jesus was willing to cleanse him, he went to Jesus.
Here is Jesus' response: He was moved with compassion.
Here's what Jesus did: He touched the leper.
Here is the word of Jesus: I am willing, be cleansed.
Here is the result: the leper was immediately cleansed.
Sin is as terrible as leprosy and incurable by human means. Just as Jesus told the leper, 'I am willing; be cleansed,' He tells every person who seeks freedom from sin, 'I am willing; be cleansed from your sin.’’
It is the devil who convinces people that being free of sin is impossible. Despair keeps people in sin, but faith assures us that Jesus can and is willing to cleanse us from sin.
