The Joy of Walking with Jesus: Safety in His Guidance

 "And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him." - Genesis 5:24

What joy it is to walk with God! Walking with Him is both safe and enjoyable. When you walk with someone who knows the path and its dangers well, guiding you in the right way, you feel secure. You know you won't stumble into a trap or lose your way.

Walking with someone who is close, caring, loving, conversational, and entertaining makes the journey pleasant.

Walking with Jesus is like that. He takes care of us, preventing us from stumbling, losing our way, or getting hurt. He talks with us, nourishing us with the healthy food of His Word and the water of Life.

No matter how long the journey is, when you know you're heading to a wonderful home for rest, the road doesn't seem tiring. Jesus will lead those who walk with Him to His beautiful home, a place of extraordinary beauty and wonder that words cannot describe.
