The sin of prayerlessness: Prayerless =powerless

Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26:41

Prayerless =powerless

If there is no prayer, then there will be no strength to overcome temptations. The sin of prayerlessness brings other sins as well.

Temptations come all the time, therefore I must pray all the time.

If prayer is constant in my life, temptation will be an uninvited guest, not a resident. When the ‘’security alarm system’’ of God's Word warns of the intrusion of temptations, we must turn to the Lord immediately.

Here are 2 rules in temptation: never talk to the devil and always talk to Jesus.

Seeing temptation from afar, we must draw near to the throne of grace.
