"You have forsaken Me, declares the LORD. You have turned your back. So I will stretch out My hand against you, and I will destroy you; I am weary of showing compassion. (Jeremiah 15:6)
Here is one of the most sobering verses that reminds us not to abuse God's mercy and patience. Sin must be forsaken so that there is no danger of forsaking God. We must not grow weary of fighting sin, or He will be weary of showing us compassion. God's mercy should be accepted with gratitude, humility, and determination to forsake sin.
Blessed are those who do not tire God with their sins.
