"His mother said to the servants, 'Whatever He says to you, do it.' (John 2:5)
The first miracle happened because:
1. Jesus was invited to the wedding. If He were absent, there would be no miracle.
2. Jesus was informed of the problem. If they tried to solve the problem on their own, the miracle wouldn't have happened.
3. They did not question the task given by Jesus, did not discuss it, but obeyed it without asking questions.
Miracles will happen in our lives if Jesus is present, if we bring our problems to Him, and accept without question the solution He offers.
