Don't leave us!

"Do not leave us! (Jeremiah 14:9)

Jeremiah's prayer should be a constant prayer for me. What will happen if the Lord leaves me for a second?

Lord, don't leave me. Don't leave me with my thoughts, with my own counsels. Don't leave me alone on my path full of traps. Don't leave me without the renewal of Your Word, without the comfort of Your Spirit. Don't leave me in my time of joy so that I don't forget You. Don't leave me in my sadness so that I don't look for joy in other places.

Lord, don't leave me.
